    Part 1 of 2

    Candidate Privacy and AI Notice

What candidates should know before building and verifying a profile.

    Before you continue

TruTalent helps you create a professional profile, verify selected claims, receive job and market insights, apply for opportunities, and communicate with authorized recruiters or employers.

    Data used

Depending on the feature, TruTalent may use your contact details, resume, work and education history, skills, preferences, application activity, assessment results, communications, verification documents, technical logs, and AI-derived insights. Optional video, audio, biometric, background-check, or sensitive-data workflows require a separate notice where applicable.

    AI assistance

AI may parse your resume, normalize skills, recommend roles, summarize information, estimate market ranges, identify inconsistencies, or support matching. AI can make mistakes. Employers must apply human review and should not use a TruTalent AI output as the sole basis for a final employment decision.

    Recruiter visibility

Your profile and activity are visible only according to the visibility settings, application workflow, enterprise configuration, or notice shown to you. Verification source documents should not be exposed to recruiters unless specifically necessary, disclosed, and authorized; normally only the result or limited evidence is shared.

    Your choices

You can correct profile data, manage visibility and communications, withdraw optional consent, request deletion, and challenge material AI-assisted information. Some records may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or employer-controlled purposes.

    Part 2 of 2

Recruiter and Employer Data Use Notice

The conditions under which customers may access and use candidate data.

    Authorized purpose

Candidate data obtained through TruTalent may be used only for the disclosed recruitment, assessment, interview, offer, onboarding, workforce-planning, or related legitimate purpose. Customers are independent controllers/Data Fiduciaries for their hiring decisions and may be controllers or joint controllers for marketplace activity.

    Required controls

Customers must maintain role-based access, verify recruiter identity, limit exports, document selection criteria, provide required notices, offer accommodations, apply human review to AI-assisted recommendations, investigate inaccuracies, and delete or return data when the purpose ends.

    Prohibited reuse

Candidate information may not be sold, used for unrelated marketing, political outreach, credit or insurance decisions, unauthorized background checks, covert monitoring, or enrichment of unrelated databases. Customers must not infer protected traits or intentionally use proxies for them.

    Verification evidence

Unless expressly authorized, customers receive a verification status or limited explanation — not unrestricted access to underlying payslips, offer letters, identity records, or other source documents.

    Responsibility

TruTalent provides tools and information; the customer remains responsible for lawful job criteria, interviews, decisions, notices, anti-discrimination compliance, accommodation, and employment records.
